Kerende Gold Project — Strategic Near-Mine Exploration and Development at the heart of Nyanzian greenstone
Kerende Gold Project is located in Northern Tanzania and is strategically positioned within the Nyanzian orogenic gold domain of the world-class Lake Victoria Gold Area, specifically within the Musoma–Mara Greenstone Belt.
The Project lies approximately 4 kilometres from the North Mara Mine, operated by Barrick Gold Corporation, which hosts approximately 4 million ounces of gold. Kerende is also adjacent to the historic German Colonial Mara Mine workings, where legacy tailings of approximately 170,000 tonnes are believed to contain in excess of 1,000 kilograms of recoverable gold. This strategic positioning within an established gold camp provides:
The geological setting makes Kerende Gold particularly well suited for near-mine exploration and staged development, with strong potential for southward expansion into the Murito–Nyasiri greenstone domains along interpreted structural continuities. Kerende Project has a surface area of 42 hectares — fully licensed for gold extraction Additional 120 hectares — under Memorandum of Understanding for pre-rights acquisition via concession agreements with three separate parties.
